An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is a pooled investment security that can be bought and sold like an individual stock.

Assets under management (AUM) is the market value of the investments managed by a person or entity on behalf of clients. AUM is used in conjunction with management performance and management experience when evaluating a company.
Z-score is a statistical measurement that describes a value's relationship to the mean of a group of values. Z-score is measured in terms of standard deviations from the mean. In investing and trading, Z-scores are measures of an instrument's variability and can be used by traders to help determine volatility.

Cumulative asset flow is the total cash flow over a specific period of time, and it provides a view of a company's financial performance. It's calculated by adding the current period's net cash flow to the previous cumulative cash flow.
A peak is the highest point between the end of an economic expansion and the start of a contraction in a business cycle. The peak of the cycle refers to the last month before several key economic indicators, such as employment and new housing starts, begin to fall. A trough refers to a stage in the business cycle where activity is bottoming, or where prices are bottoming, before a rise.
A cyclical sector is a type of industry that is sensitive to the business cycle, such that revenues generally are higher in periods of economic prosperity and expansion and are lower in periods of economic downturn and contraction.
A defensive stock provides consistent dividends and stable earnings regardless of the overall state of the stock market.
A Treasury bill (T-bill) is a short-term U.S. government debt obligation backed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Terms range from four to 52 weeks. T-bills are issued at a discount from the par value, also known as the face value.
